Digital Badges
Digital badges can be used to help expand awareness and add value for association members. Our MarCom staff created promotional badges to help the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) promote awareness of their certification program. Members use their digital credential on LinkedIn and other social platforms where colleagues can send congratulatory notes and likes, thus increasing program interest.
Digital badges have also been used to spread the word about organization’s conferences. Sponsors get a “We are Sponsoring” badge after they pay for sponsorship, speakers receive an “I’m Speaking” badge once they are formally confirmed, and attendees can post their “I’m Attending” badge (received in their confirmation email) in any of their social channels or outgoing emails.
